Welcome to the new Headquarters Battalion Offensive Tournament.
The Battalion Tournaments are slightly different to tournaments we have run in the past. Notably, ALL prestige points to purchase units are provided at the start of the game. There are NO additional presige points awarded per turn, no matter how many flags you capture.
In fact, these Tournaments are set up so that it isn't about capturing flags. You have an army, and your mission is to either totally destroy the enemy, or capture their base, or, if neither, to score more points (from kills) than your opponent.
There is an additional rule you need to follow. On deployment, DO NOT PURCHASE AND DEPLOY MORE THAN 30 UNITS IN ONE ROUND, AS THERE WON'T BE ENOUGH ROOM IN THE DEPLOYMENT ZONE. ANY UNITS THAT YOU TRY TO DEPLOY OVER THAT NUMBER WILL BE LOST. YOU WILL NOT RECOVER THE PRESTIGE POINTS!!!!!
ALSO - YOU MUST DEPLOY ON THE FIRST TURN OR YOU WILL BE IMMEDIATELY DEFEATED (AS THERE IS AN ELIMINATE ALL WIN CONDITION)
